Camera-Ready Instructions and Submission
We are sorry, but due to the management of the WOWMOM proceedings, we need to anticipate the deadline for the camera-ready and copyright submission to April 27.
Consider that not too much changes are requested to the original submission of your manuscript, but it is mandatory to follow and apply the following instructions for the format of the paper:
- IEEE PDF compliance must be checked at the IEEE PDF Xpress web site, and a proof of this must be provided (see Requirements for creating PDF Documents below).
- The camera-ready version of the paper must be submitted (see Submission Instructions below).
- The IEEE Copyright Form must be submitted (see IEEE Copyright Form below).
- At least one author must be registered to WoWMoM 2010 with a full registration status.
Please note that unless these conditions are met, we will not be able to include your paper in the conference proceedings or in IEEE Xplore.
Also, please note that failure to present the paper in the conference can result in excluding it from distribution after the conference (e.g., removal from IEEE Xplore).
Format and templates
Camera-ready version of papers must be submitted as PDF files. Manuscript templates (MS Word or LaTeX) for producing the camera-ready version of your paper are available at the following URL:
http://www.ieee.org/web/publications/pubservices/confpub/AuthorTools/conferenceTemplates.html
You are requested to strictly comply with the format specified therein.
Workshop papers have a limit of 6 pages. Maximum page count includes all text, figures, tables, and references. The number of pages can be increased by contributing with an overlength charge of 100 Euro for each additional page exceeding the respective limit. We strictly allow for one extra page at most for workshop papers.
Copyright information
The following copyright notice must be placed on the bottom, left-hand side of the first page of each paper: 978-1-4244-7265-9/10/$26.00 © 2010 IEEE
For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the notice is: U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright
For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, Australia), the notice is: 978-1-4244-7265-9/10/$26.00 © 2010 Crown
For LaTeX users, the CCC code can be added using the following:
First, use package command: \usepackage{eso-pic}
Then, use the following command (everything in one line):
\AddToShipoutPicture*
{\small \sffamily\raisebox{1.8cm}{\hspace{1.8cm}978-1-4244-7265-9/10/\$26.00 \copyright2010 IEEE}}
An IEEE Copyright Form must be submitted for each paper. You can download an IEEE Copyright Form at the following
URL:
http://www.ieee.org/web/publications/rights/copyrightmain.html
Fill in the paper information, sign the form, and and upload it through EDAS. In order to upload the copyright form for your paper go to "My Papers" tab and click on the '(c)' icon under the column "Copyright Form" where your paper is located.
Requirements for creating PDF Documents for IEEE Xplore
Individual PDFs must be prepared according to the IEEE PDF specification for IEEE Xplore
http://www.ieee.org/portal/pages/pubs/confstandards/pdfs.html
IEEE PDF eXpress is a customized web site that can help WoWMoM authors either generate an IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF file, or submit their own PDF for compatibility testing. Prior to submitting your final paper, you must visit IEEE PDF eXpress to either:
- Convert your paper from a wide range of application formats to IEEE Xplore-compatible PDFs
- Check existing PDFs to find out if it is IEEE Xplore-compatible (and how to fix it)
To check PDFs for IEEE Xplore compatibility, please go to the IEEE PDF eXpress site at www.pdf-express.org, click on the link "New Users - Click Here" and fill in your information.
You will need the Conference ID which is: "wowmom2010x"
In order to prove that PDF Check has been passed, you must forward the confirmation mail received from the IEEE PDF eXpress service to
salvatore.vanini@supsi.ch and
irehss2010-chairs@iit.cnr.it
Finally, please note that IEEE PDF eXpress is not a manuscript-collection system and is not intended to replace the conferenceÕs submission system. Once you verify that you have an IEEE Xplore-compatible version of your manuscripts, you have to upload the camera-ready paper and the copyright through EDAS (see Copyright information section above).
